PNEUMATIC CONVEYING SYSTEM

A pneumatic conveying system transfers powders, granules, and other dry bulk materials through an enclosed horizontal or vertical conveying line. The motive force for this transfer comes from a combination of pressure differential and the flow of air (or another gas) supplied by an air mover, such as a blower or fan. By controlling the pressure or vacuum and the airflow inside the conveying line, the system can successfully convey materials.

Lean phase pressure conveying is one of the most common conveying methods for powders or granules. It’s most often used with non-abrasive, non-fragile materials that have a light bulk density common examples are flour, sugar, corn starch, plastic granules, sodium bicarbonate, hydrated lime, activated carbon, and zinc oxide.

Dense phase pressure conveying is suitable for gently conveying abrasive materials over long distances. Commonly handled materials include silica sand, fly ash, alumina, glass batch mix, carbon black, sorbitol, dextrose, candies, resins, cocoa beans, hazelnuts, and puffed rice cereal. The system conveys materials at a relatively low speed to reduce materials degradation, air consumption, and abrasion on pipeline, bend, and diverter contact surfaces.

DDGS Conveying system

Distillers dried grain with soluble is by-product in distillery plant, we provide DDGS Conveying system as per site requirements usually in SS304 Grade of material. It is combination of several screw conveyors and a paddle mixer to carry out the Job.

Pigment Drying System

Swamiraj Engineering has designed and developed cost effective system for Pigment drying which saves Energy & Valuable Time for drying the pigment, thereby reducing the overall cost for drying.

In conventional Pigment drying system, the wet cake from Filter Press cake is first collected in Trolleys and then from trolleys it is fed into Trays. These Trays are then loaded in Tray Dryer. Depending upon moisture content these Dryers will take any time from 24 Hrs to 40 Hours for Drying. To overcome this energy intense Pigment drying system, Swamiraj engineering has developed a drying system with Noodling of Pigment.

The New Pigment Drying system consists of following Equipments.

Belt Conveyor

The belt Conveyor is Placed below the Filter press Cake. The wet cake discharged from the filter press is collected on the Belt conveyor.

The belt conveyor then transfers the wet cake into the Noodle Making Machine.

Pigment Noodle Extruder

The Pigment Noodle Extruder Machine is used to make Noodles from the wet cake received from filter press through the belt conveyor. The working principle of noodle extruder is wet cake getting pressed at a very high pressure in between oscillating shaft & extruder Plate, resulting in formation of noodles from bottom of extruder plate. The oscillating shaft oscillates to & fro on extruder plate powered by Hydraulic Power pack to develop high pressure.

The out Put Noodles are collected in Tray kept below the noodler. These Trays are manually transferred to Tray dryer. The volume of Tray is about 10 Liters. Two trays are placed below the Noodler

The pigment noodle extruders are available in varying capacities from 500 kgs/Hr to 1000Kgs/Hr of Wet Cake Noodles, and are available in SS304 Grade of material.

Tray Dryer

A tray Dryer is an enclosed insulated chamber in which trays are placed on top of each other in trolleys. Tray Dryer are extensively used for drying the pigment wet cake / Pigment Noodles. The material to be dried (Noodles) are placed in the trays. Heat transfer is by circulation of hot air by electric heaters or steam in radiator coils. Blower fans are installed inside to ensure proper circulation and transfer of heat.

A control panel to control the temperature and other parameters is provided outside the dryer. These dryers are available in SS304 from inside for all contact Parts & External is in MS.
